1. About us

NextGem Foundation (“NextGem”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Nigerian orphan advocacy and child welfare organisation registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC Registration No: RC 9663465). Our mission is to help orphaned children reach their full potential through education, healthcare, talent development, and structured support systems.

2. Use of this website

By using this website you agree to use it lawfully, respectfully, and for legitimate purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or use the website in any way that could damage or disrupt our services.

The content on this website — including text, images, logos, and programme information — is provided for general information about our work and is owned by or licensed to NextGem Foundation unless otherwise stated.

3. Donations

When you make a donation to NextGem Foundation, you agree that:

• Your donation will be used to support our charitable programmes in Nigeria, including school fees, healthcare, welfare support, and talent development for orphaned children.
• As a guide, 70% of donated funds goes directly to child welfare and programme delivery, and 30% funds the operations that make that support possible and accountable.
• Donations are made voluntarily and are non-refundable, except where a donation was made in error or where required by law. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at hello@nextgemfoundation.com within 14 days and we will review your request.
• You are responsible for providing accurate details when making a donation so we can acknowledge and record your gift correctly.
• Where donations are made by bank transfer, please include your name and send your transfer receipt so we can acknowledge your gift and issue a record of giving.

4. Volunteering

Volunteering with NextGem is subject to our volunteer onboarding process and the NextGem Code of Conduct. Volunteers are expected to uphold the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of the children we serve, and to comply with all instructions from our team and partner orphanages.

5. Partnerships

Partnerships, MOUs, and institutional engagements are formalised through written agreements between NextGem Foundation and the partnering organisation. Website enquiries do not constitute a binding partnership.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and reports, is the property of NextGem Foundation or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party links

Our website and blog may link to third-party websites, including social media platforms and partner organisations. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to review their own policies.

8. Limitation of liability
