Annual Flagship Event

The Orphanage Games

Nigeria's inter-orphanage sports and talent event.

An annual event that gives children in registered orphanages a platform to compete, perform, connect, and be seen.

Programme goal

Bring together participating orphanages, children, supporters, and partners to create pathways to athletic careers for orphanage children.

How you can support

  • Sponsor the Games as a title or programme partner
  • Fund transport for children from participating orphanages
  • Donate sports equipment, kits, or prizes

NextGem Refiners

A structured, accountable volunteer network.

Volunteers are recruited, trained, and deployed to deliver tutoring, mentorship, and life-skills support across partner orphanages.

Programme goal

Build a consistent volunteer network that supports partner homes with practical skills and reliable service.

How you can support

  • Volunteer your skills in education, healthcare, arts, or technology
  • Create a volunteer partnership through your company
  • Fund volunteer training, transport, and coordination

A structured digital-skills programme helping children aged 10–16 develop the computer skills they need to learn, work, and participate in the digital world.

Programme goal

Run a structured digital-skills programme helping children aged 10–16 develop the computer skills they need to learn, work, and participate in the digital world.

How you can support

  • Donate computers and other learning devices
  • Volunteer as an ICT instructor or curriculum contributor
  • Fund digital-skills training through your organisation
  • Sponsor a learning space or internet connectivity

04Education access

Education Access

NextGem Education Fund

Keeping 100 orphaned students in school.

A dedicated fund for school fees, learning materials, calculators, and WAEC and JAMB registrations throughout the 2027/2028 academic year.

Programme goal

Raise ₦25 million to keep 40 secondary and 60 primary school students enrolled, equipped, and able to complete the 2027/2028 academic year.

How you can support

  • Sponsor school fees for one or more students
  • Donate notebooks, stationery, or calculators
  • Fund a student’s WAEC or JAMB registration
  • Support the fund through your company or organisation
