We go beyond food and gifts. Our events raise funds and open doors. Our volunteers build skills, discipline, and confidence. Our partners expose orphaned children to opportunities they would never otherwise access.
At NextGEM, we do not see "orphans." We see gems waiting to be polished.

Our History
In March 2025, during my service year in Bayelsa, God placed it on my heart to volunteer at an orphanage. What started as weekly visits to Destiny Child Orphanage soon became a deeper commitment. I knew I did not want to become just another temporary presence in the children's lives.
Through prayer, the idea for the Orphanage Games was born — created to give the children visibility and attract long-term support.
What began as a small step grew into a bigger vision: to build structured, sustainable systems that support orphaned children beyond one-time events.
NextGem was not built alone. With the help of friends, family, partners, volunteers, and supporters like you, this vision began to take shape.
Today, NextGem exists to stand in the gap — providing opportunity, mentorship, exposure, and consistent support where life has created loss.
We remain committed to running this foundation with integrity, transparency, and faith in God who makes it all possible.
